The funny thing is that they set that number so high that with the downturn in demand, they can't use it all while keeping it under the maximum of 10% blend (E85 is not under this rule) allowed by the EPA. Now they are trying to get the EPA to up the allowable level to 20% to please the ethanol lobby and get reelected. It is currently illegal to put any higher than a 10% blend in a non flexfuel vehicle right now. So if you put E85 in your car, you can get in trouble with the EPA if there is someone who cares...
